What happens to my data after I cancel?

You must export all projects, models, datasets, and code before your cancellation date. For user-initiated cancellations, no grace period is explicitly guaranteed. If Domino terminates your account, they will provide 'a reasonable opportunity' to retrieve your content. Admins can export audit trail data via 'Download as CSV' in the Governance section.

Can I cancel a Domino Data Lab contract early?

The Terms of Service state you can cancel at any time, but most subscriptions are annual or multi-year enterprise contracts ($50K–$150K+/year). Early termination typically requires negotiation with your account manager. No explicit early termination penalty was found in public terms, but refunds for unused months are not offered.

Are refunds available after cancellation?

No. Domino Data Lab does not offer refunds. The AWS Marketplace listing explicitly states: 'We do not currently offer refunds, but you can cancel at any time.'

Can I cancel by sending an email?

No. The Terms of Service explicitly state that email or phone requests 'will not be considered cancellation.' Direct subscribers must cancel via the Account page after logging in. Marketplace subscribers cancel through their respective marketplace console.

Is there a free tier or trial I can downgrade to instead of cancelling?

No. Domino Data Lab has no free tier or community edition. The only trial available is a sales-led demo requested at dominodatalab.com/request-a-trial. Downgrading a plan may cause 'loss of Content, features, or capacity' per the Terms of Service.

How do I reactivate my account after cancellation?

To reactivate, contact Domino Data Lab through the sales team at sales@dominodatalab.com or via the contact form at domino.ai/contactus. You would need to enter a new contract or subscription agreement.

Determine your subscription type

Identify how you subscribed: directly via Domino Cloud (domino.ai), through AWS Marketplace, or through Azure Marketplace. Each has a different cancellation path. Most enterprise customers have annual contracts and must go through their account manager.

Export all your data first

Before cancelling, export all your projects, models, datasets, and code from within the Domino platform. Admins can export audit trail data via 'Download as CSV' from the Governance section. Per the Terms of Service, you are solely responsible for exporting your Content before account termination — no grace period is guaranteed for user-initiated cancellations.

Cancel via Account page (Domino Cloud direct)

If you have a direct Domino Cloud subscription, log in at domino.ai, navigate to your 'Account' page from the user menu, and initiate cancellation from there. The Terms of Service explicitly state that email or phone requests are NOT valid cancellation methods — it must be done through the Account page.

Cancel via AWS Marketplace (if applicable)

If subscribed through AWS Marketplace, go to AWS Console > AWS Marketplace > Manage subscriptions, locate 'Domino Enterprise AI Platform', and cancel the subscription directly through the AWS console interface.

Cancel via Azure Marketplace (if applicable)

If subscribed through Azure Marketplace, go to the Azure Portal > SaaS subscriptions, find your Domino subscription, and cancel it through the Azure SaaS subscription management interface.

Contact account manager for enterprise contracts

For annual or multi-year enterprise contracts (12, 24, or 36 months), contact your assigned Domino Account Manager directly or email sales@dominodatalab.com. Reference your contract number and request termination. Early termination terms must be negotiated with the account team.
