Will I lose access to Strava Premium features immediately after cancelling?

No. Your Premium (Subscriber) features remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Strava's general policy is no refunds for the current billing period. However, if you are outside the United States, you may be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase under local consumer law. For App Store or Google Play purchases, refund requests must go through Apple or Google respectively.

Will my activity data be deleted when I cancel?

No. All your uploaded activities, routes, and history remain intact on your account. You simply lose access to subscriber-only features (e.g., segment leaderboards, advanced training analysis, heart rate analytics). Your data is not deleted unless you separately request account deletion.

How do I reactivate my Strava subscription?

Log in to strava.com, go to Settings > My Account, and follow the prompts to re-subscribe. Your previous activity history will still be there.

What happens if I cancel but I'm still being charged?

This usually means your subscription was purchased through the App Store or Google Play, and you only cancelled on Strava's website — which does not cancel third-party billing. Go to your Apple or Google account subscriptions and cancel from there.

How do I fully delete my Strava account and all data?

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. To delete your account and all data, go to Settings > My Account > Delete Account on the Strava website. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Log in to Strava on the web

Go to strava.com and sign in to your account. Cancellation must be done via the platform where you originally subscribed — if you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must cancel there instead (see steps 6–7).

Open your profile menu

Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the page to open the account dropdown menu.

Go to Settings

Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu. This takes you to your account settings page.

Navigate to My Account

In the left sidebar of Settings, click 'My Account'. Scroll down to find your subscription details.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Click the 'Cancel subscription' link or button. You may be asked to select a reason for cancelling (optional). Confirm your cancellation when prompted. You will receive a confirmation email.

(iOS only) Cancel via Apple Subscriptions

If you subscribed via iPhone/iPad: open the device Settings app → tap your name (Apple ID) at the top → tap 'Subscriptions' → find Strava → tap 'Cancel Subscription' → confirm. Alternatively manage at appleid.apple.com.

(Android only) Cancel via Google Play

If you subscribed via Android: open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon (top right) → tap 'Payments & subscriptions' → tap 'Subscriptions' → select Strava → tap 'Cancel subscription' → follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
