Can I cancel my Vectra AI subscription mid-contract and get a refund?

No. Vectra AI's Terms of Service explicitly state that all Subscription Orders are non-cancellable and nonrefundable. You must fulfill the remainder of your contract term regardless of whether you continue using the product.

What happens if I miss the 60-day non-renewal notice deadline?

Your subscription automatically renews for another full year. Vectra can also modify pricing for the renewal term with just 30 days' written notice before the term end, so missing the window may result in both an unwanted renewal and a price increase.

How do I get my data back after cancellation?

You must request your data within 30 days of the contract end date. Contact your CSM or email privacy@vectra.ai to arrange export in a mutually agreed format. After 30 days, Vectra has no obligation to retain your data and may delete it.

Can I request that Vectra delete all my data after termination?

Yes. Submit a written request to privacy@vectra.ai for secure destruction of all End User Data. Vectra will complete the destruction within 180 days and provide written confirmation. Anonymized or aggregated datasets may be retained.

Can I reactivate my Vectra AI subscription after cancelling?

Yes, you can re-engage Vectra AI by contacting sales at vectra.ai/about/contact. However, pricing and contract terms will be renegotiated from scratch — there is no self-service reactivation and your previous rate is not guaranteed.

Is there a short-term or monthly option to avoid an annual contract?

AWS Marketplace offers monthly Vectra AI contracts starting at $499/month (Standard) or $1,299/month (Complete) — the closest option to a short-term commitment. Direct contracts are annual and negotiated with sales.

Locate your contract end date

Check your original Order Form or contract documents to find your subscription term end date. You must submit written notice at least 60 days before this date — missing the window triggers automatic renewal for another full year.

Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM)

Reach out to your assigned Vectra AI Customer Success Manager or Account Executive directly. If you do not know who your CSM is, email support@vectra.ai or call (408) 326-2022 to identify your account owner.

Submit written non-renewal notice

Send a formal written notice of non-renewal to your CSM and/or via email. Reference your contract number and state your intent not to renew. Keep a timestamped copy — this written notice is legally required per the Terms of Service.

Negotiate exit (expect retention conversation)

Your CSM will likely schedule a call to discuss renewal. Be prepared for pricing renegotiation offers or feature demos. You are not obligated to accept any counter-offer — confirm in writing that your non-renewal notice stands.

Request data export within 30 days

After the contract end date, you have 30 days to request your data in a mutually agreed format. Contact your CSM or privacy@vectra.ai to initiate this. After 30 days, Vectra is not obligated to retain your data.

Request secure data destruction (optional)

If required for compliance, submit a written request to privacy@vectra.ai for secure destruction of all End User Data. Vectra will complete destruction within 180 days and confirm in writing.

Cancel AWS Marketplace subscription separately (if applicable)

If purchased via AWS Marketplace, also cancel the subscription in the AWS console under 'Your Marketplace Software'. Additionally notify Vectra directly at aws-marketplace@vectra.ai — cancelling in AWS alone does not terminate the Vectra license.
