Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. When you downgrade your plan, the change is scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle. You keep all current plan features until your next billing date.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Generally no. Checkly's Terms of Service state that fees are non-refundable. The only exceptions are if Checkly materially reduces service functionality or changes terms to comply with law, in which case a pro-rated refund may apply.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Your account remains active on the free Hobby plan, so your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you request full account deletion, Checkly may delete your data. Export any content you need before closing your account.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes. Since cancelling means downgrading to the free Hobby plan (not deleting your account), you can re-upgrade to a paid plan at any time from the Billing settings page. Note that you will be charged at current pricing, which may be higher than your previous locked-in rate.

How do I cancel if I subscribed through Vercel?

Go to your Checkly billing page (https://app.checklyhq.com/settings/account/billing), click 'Visit Vercel', then find the Checkly integration in your Vercel account and downgrade the plan from there. Contact support@checklyhq.com if you need help.

How do I cancel an Enterprise plan?

Enterprise plan cancellations cannot be done self-serve. Contact Checkly via https://www.checklyhq.com/contact-sales or email support@checklyhq.com to initiate the process.

Log in to Checkly

Go to https://app.checklyhq.com and sign in to your account.

Open Account Settings

Click the gear icon or your account menu in the top-right corner, then select 'Settings'.

Go to Billing

In the Settings sidebar, click 'Account' then 'Billing'. This takes you to https://app.checklyhq.com/settings/account/billing.

Click 'Change plan'

On the Billing page, click the 'Change plan' button to open the plan selector.

Select the Hobby plan

Choose the 'Hobby' plan ($0/month) from the list of available plans.

Confirm the downgrade

Confirm your selection. The downgrade is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you retain full access until then.
