Review your contract end date
Log in to your Tipalti Hub and locate your contract or order form to identify the exact end date of your current subscription term. Tipalti contracts auto-renew for 12-month periods, so you must act at least 30 days before that date or you will be locked into another full year.
Contact your Tipalti Account Manager
Notify your dedicated Account Manager or Customer Success Manager that you intend to cancel. Call Tipalti support at +1 800-305-3550 (daily 6:30 AM–6:30 PM PT) or email contact@tipalti.com to be routed to the right person. Inform them you wish to terminate at end of term.
Send formal written termination notice to legal@tipalti.com
Send a written cancellation notice via email to legal@tipalti.com. The notice must be received at least 30 days before the end of your current subscription term. Include your company name, account ID, and a clear statement of intent to terminate at the end of the current term. This is the legally required step per Tipalti's Services Agreement — verbal or informal requests are not sufficient.
Download your transactional data
Before your term ends, log in to the Tipalti Hub and export all transactional data, payment history, supplier records, and reports you wish to retain. Navigate to your reporting or payment history sections and use the export/download options. You can also request Tipalti's assistance with data export (may be at your expense).
Confirm cancellation acknowledgment
Follow up to obtain written confirmation from Tipalti that your termination notice has been received and recorded. Keep this confirmation for your records. Ensure all outstanding fees for the current term are settled — payment of any balance owed is due within 30 days of the termination date.
