Go to Obsidian account page
Open your browser and navigate to https://obsidian.md/account. Click 'Sign in' if you are not already logged in, then enter your email and password.
Locate your active subscription
Once logged in, scroll down to the 'Obsidian Sync' or 'Obsidian Publish' section on your account dashboard. Your active subscription and renewal date will be displayed here.
Click 'Cancel subscription'
Under your active subscription (e.g. Obsidian Sync), click the 'Cancel subscription' link or button. This is typically shown as a small text link beneath the subscription details.
Confirm cancellation
A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm you want to cancel. Click 'Confirm' or 'Cancel subscription' to finalize. No retention offers or additional steps are typically shown.
Check confirmation email
You will receive a cancellation confirmation email to the address linked to your Obsidian account. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
