Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Annual and quarterly plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee — request via https://app.memrise.com/premium/refunds/ within 30 days of purchase. Monthly plans have a 14-day refund window. No refunds are issued after these windows. EU consumers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right. Apple App Store subscribers must request refunds directly from Apple.

What happens to my learning data?

Your account, streak, course history, and vocabulary are all retained. You revert to a free account and lose Pro-exclusive features like ad-free browsing and native speaker video clips.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time at https://app.memrise.com/payment/plans. A Lifetime plan is also available as a one-time purchase with no recurring charges.

How do I cancel if I subscribed via iPhone or iPad?

Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → iTunes & App Store → tap your Apple ID → View Apple ID → Subscriptions → select Memrise → tap Cancel Subscription.

Log in to Memrise

Go to memrise.com and log in to your account.

Open your Profile menu

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open the dropdown menu.

Go to Settings

Select 'Settings' (gear/cog icon) from the dropdown menu, or navigate directly to https://www.memrise.com/settings/premium/

Open the Account tab

Click the 'Account' tab inside Settings (shown with a lightning bolt icon in some UI versions).

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Find and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button (also labeled 'Cancel Plan' in some UI versions).

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation. You will see a warning that you will lose Pro features, but access continues until the end of your current billing period.
