If you cancel Cloud Storage, recorded footage is expected to be deleted once the service period ends, though Ajax does not publish a specific retention window. To delete your account and all personal data entirely, go to App settings → Edit account → Delete account in the Ajax Security System app.

Yes. If you used 'Deactivate' (end of month), you can tap 'Restore' before the billing period ends to reverse it. If you used 'Stop now', reactivation requires setting up a new payment. Ajax SIM cards deactivated via 'Stop now' are immediately deactivated and require reactivation as a new service.

Does cancelling my subscription affect my security system hardware?

No. Ajax hardware (hubs, sensors, sirens) continues to function for local self-monitoring without any paid subscription. Cancelling only removes the paid add-on features like cloud video storage, SIM cellular backup, or Photo Mode.

How do I cancel if I'm on a professionally monitored plan?

Ajax does not provide professional monitoring directly — that is handled by third-party alarm receiving centres (monitoring companies) contracted separately. To cancel professional monitoring, contact your monitoring company directly, not Ajax Systems.

Open Ajax Security System app

Launch the Ajax Security System app on your mobile device. Make sure you are logged in as an admin or user with PRO full-rights for the space.

Select your space

On the home screen, tap your space (the name of your security system location) to open it.

Open space settings

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open the space settings menu.

Navigate to Extra services

Scroll down and tap 'Extra services' to view your active Ajax Services (Cloud Storage, Ajax SIM, Photo Mode, etc.).

Tap 'Manage service'

Tap the active service you want to cancel, then tap 'Manage service' to open the cancellation options.

Choose cancellation type

Select either 'Stop now' (terminates immediately and issues a prorated refund to your original payment card) or 'Deactivate' (service remains active until end of the current billing month with no refund). 'Stop now' is recommended if you want a partial refund.

Confirm cancellation

Tap 'Stop' in the confirmation pop-up dialog to complete the cancellation. You will receive confirmation that the service has been cancelled or scheduled for cancellation.
