Will I lose internet access immediately after cancelling?

You can choose immediate cancellation or schedule a future cancellation date. Service continues until your chosen cancellation date, and you are only charged pro-rata for days used.

Will I get a refund for unused days?

Yes. Aussie Broadband uses pro-rata billing, so your final bill is adjusted for the exact days your service was active. There are no disconnection fees on standard month-to-month plans.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes, you can sign up again as a new or returning customer. Contact Aussie Broadband on 1300 880 905 or via their website. Your old account details may not be retained.

Is there an early termination fee?

Standard month-to-month NBN plans have no exit fees. However, if you signed up on a fixed-term contract (e.g. a special promo deal), an early termination charge of approximately $149 may apply.

What happens if I can't cancel online?

Call 1300 880 905 between 8am and midnight AEST, 7 days a week. If you cannot call, email billing@aussiebroadband.com.au as an accessibility alternative.

Do I need to return any hardware?

If you have a Fetch TV box supplied by Aussie Broadband, you must return it within 30 days of cancellation to avoid a $300 non-return fee. Aussie will send return instructions in your cancellation confirmation email.

Log in to Member Centre

Go to my.aussiebroadband.com.au and sign in with your email and password.

Find 'Cancel my Plan' link

On the dashboard, look at the right-hand side panel under 'Important Links' and click 'Cancel my Plan'.

Verify your identity

Enter your account password when prompted to confirm it's you before proceeding.

Review plan and usage

Review your current plan details and usage history displayed on the cancellation page.

Scroll to Cancellation section

Scroll down to find the 'Cancellation' section and click the 'Cancel my Plan' button.

Re-enter password and select reason

Re-enter your password for final confirmation, then select a cancellation reason from the dropdown menu.

Submit cancellation

Click 'Submit Cancellation Request'. You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation. If you have a Fetch TV box, the email will include hardware return instructions.
