No. You retain full Super Duolingo access (unlimited hearts, ad-free, offline lessons, streak repair, Super badge) until the end of your current billing period. No features are cut off early.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Duolingo does not offer prorated refunds for unused subscription time. For exceptional refund requests, contact Duolingo support via support.duolingo.com. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests must go through Apple or Google directly.

Log in and open Settings

Go to duolingo.com and log in to your account. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Super Duolingo section

In the Settings sidebar, click the 'Super Duolingo' tab, or navigate directly to duolingo.com/settings/account. Your current plan, billing cycle, and renewal date will be displayed here.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll down within the Super Duolingo settings section and click the 'Cancel Subscription' link. Note: this option only appears if you subscribed via the Duolingo website. If you subscribed through iOS or Android, you must cancel via Apple Subscriptions or Google Play respectively.

Select a cancellation reason

Duolingo presents a retention screen asking why you are canceling. Select a reason from the list (e.g. 'Too expensive', 'Not using it enough') and click 'Continue'.

Proceed through confirmation screens

Click 'Proceed To Cancel' on the next screen, then click 'Cancel Super' (or 'Confirm Cancellation') on the final confirmation screen. You will receive an on-screen confirmation that your subscription has been canceled.
