When does my service stop after I cancel?

You can choose to terminate immediately or set a date up to 30 days in advance. Billing is calculated on a daily pro-rata basis from the termination date, so you only pay for the days used in the final billing period.

When will I receive my final invoice?

Your final invoice is issued within 2 months of termination. If you had active roaming usage, those charges can take up to 2 months to be billed by foreign operators, so the final invoice may be slightly delayed.

Can I keep my phone number after cancellation?

Yes. Telia reserves your number under your name for 6 months after cancellation. During the first 60 days you can reactivate using the same physical SIM card. Between 60 days and 6 months, you can rejoin with a new SIM or eSIM and reclaim the same number. After 6 months the number returns to general circulation.

Can I cancel if I have a device installment plan?

No. If your subscription has an active fixed-term obligation (typically a phone purchased on installments tied to the plan), cancellation is blocked until the obligation period ends or you pay off the remaining device balance separately.

Is there an alternative to full cancellation?

Yes — Telia offers 'Ajutine lepingu peatamine' (Temporary contract suspension). The service is paused rather than terminated. The first 3 months are free; after that it costs €1.67/month plus a €2.06 reactivation fee. Your number is preserved during the suspension.

What if I cannot cancel online?

If the self-service portal blocks cancellation (e.g. due to pending activity or outstanding debt), you can visit a Telia store in person or submit a digitally signed termination application. Contact Telia customer service at 53 000 000 (Estonian mobile) for assistance.

Log in to Telia self-service

Go to https://iseteenindus.telia.ee and click 'Sisenen' (Log in). Authenticate using Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, or ID-card.

Navigate to Mobile services

From the main dashboard, click 'Mobiil' in the top navigation menu, then select 'Minu teenused' (My services) to see your active mobile subscriptions.

Select the number to cancel

Click on the specific phone number/subscription you want to terminate from the list of active mobile services.

Open Contract and actions

Click the 'Leping ja haldamine' (Contract and actions) button on the subscription detail page.

Choose to terminate

Select 'Lõpetan teenuse' (Terminate the service) from the available options in the contract management section.

Set termination date and confirm

Choose whether to terminate immediately or set a future date (up to 30 days in advance). Select your reason for cancellation from the dropdown, then confirm by clicking the confirm/submit button.
