Will I lose access to my content after cancelling?

No. TinaCMS is Git-backed, so all your content lives in your own GitHub repository and is unaffected by cancellation. Only TinaCloud-specific features (dashboard, media management, user roles) will be impacted.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

No. TinaCMS's Terms of Service (Section 4.2) explicitly state there are no refunds for cancellation. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

When does my subscription actually end?

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. You keep full access until that date.

Can I downgrade to the free plan instead of cancelling?

Yes. TinaCMS offers a permanent Free plan (up to 2 users, unlimited docs/repos). You can request a downgrade via the same settings page or by emailing info@tina.io.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Reactivation is not documented publicly. Contact info@tina.io to restart a subscription.

Is there a self-hosted alternative to avoid the subscription?

Yes. TinaCMS has a fully open-source self-hosted option that requires no TinaCloud subscription. See https://tina.io/docs/self-hosted/overview for setup instructions.

Log in to TinaCloud

Go to https://app.tina.io and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Organization Settings

Click your organization name or avatar in the top-right corner and select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Find Billing section

Look for a 'Billing' or 'Subscription' section within the organization settings. If no cancellation option is visible, proceed to the email method.

Send cancellation email

Email info@tina.io with the subject 'Cancel Subscription'. Include your organization name and a clear request to cancel your plan. This is the officially documented cancellation method per TinaCMS Terms of Service and support docs.

Await confirmation

Wait for a confirmation reply from TinaCMS support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
