Is there a free plan I can downgrade to instead of canceling?

No. Dagster+ does not offer a free tier. The lowest paid plan is Solo at $10/month. If you want to stop paying entirely, you must cancel your subscription.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Dagster+ does not document a refund policy. Fees are generally treated as non-refundable. For AWS Marketplace subscribers, all fees are explicitly non-refundable and non-cancellable except as required by law.

Can I still access my data after cancellation?

No grace period for data access after cancellation is documented. You should export all run history, logs, and metadata before your subscription ends. The open-source Dagster framework can be self-hosted if you wish to continue running pipelines independently.

What happens if I miss the 30-day notice window?

Your subscription will auto-renew for another full subscription period and you will be billed accordingly. Dagster's Terms of Service require at least 30 days' notice before the end of your current period to prevent auto-renewal.

How do I cancel before my free trial ends?

Contact support before the 30-day trial expires — either via the help icon in the dashboard ('Create a support ticket') or by emailing support@dagsterlabs.com. No credit card is required to start a trial, but you should confirm cancellation proactively.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes, you can sign up for a new Dagster+ plan at any time at dagster.plus. However, previously stored run history and data from your canceled account may no longer be available.

Log in to Dagster+

Go to dagster.plus (US) or eu.dagster.cloud (EU) and sign in to your account.

Open Organization Settings

Click your user icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Organization Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Plan or Billing section

Inside Organization Settings, locate the 'Plan' or 'Billing' tab. Check whether a self-serve cancellation option is available here.

Export your data first

Before canceling, download any run history, asset materializations, or logs you need. No data export grace period is documented after cancellation.

Submit a cancellation request

If no self-serve cancel button exists, click the help icon in the dashboard and select 'Create a support ticket', or email support@dagsterlabs.com. For formal contract termination, email notices@elementl.com. Clearly state you want to cancel and your intended end date.

Provide 30 days' notice

Per Dagster's Terms of Service, cancellation requires at least 30 days' notice before the end of your current subscription period. Submit your request well in advance to avoid auto-renewal and charges for the next billing cycle.
