Sign In to Proton Account
Go to account.proton.me and sign in with your Proton credentials.
Open Subscription Settings
Click on Plans & Pricing or Subscription in the left sidebar.
Downgrade or Cancel
Click Downgrade to free plan or Cancel subscription. If you have a Proton bundle, this may affect other Proton services.
Confirm Changes
Review what you will lose (server access, speed, Secure Core, NetShield) and confirm the downgrade.
Verify Cancellation
Check your email for a confirmation. Your paid features remain active until the end of the billing period, then you switch to the free VPN plan.
