Can I continue using Akuity after I cancel?

Yes, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Monthly plan holders can cancel at any time and continue using the service until the period ends. After cancellation, you will be downgraded to the free tier (if applicable) or lose access to paid features.

Are fees refundable when I cancel?

No. Akuity's Terms of Service state that 'payment obligations are non-cancelable and fees paid are non-refundable.' The only exception is if Akuity materially fails to deliver the service and cannot remediate the issue, in which case you may receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining current billing period.

How do I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Log in to the Akuity Portal

Go to akuity.cloud and sign in with your account credentials (GitHub, Google, or SSO).

Open Organization Settings

In the left navigation panel, click the dropdown under the Akuity logo to select your organization, then navigate to the Organization Settings section.

Locate the Billing or Plan section

Within Organization Settings, look for a Billing or Plan tab. If a self-service downgrade or cancellation option is available, select 'Downgrade Plan' or 'Cancel Subscription'. Note: Akuity's portal has a documented 'downgrade billing plans' capability, but the exact menu label may vary.

Contact Akuity Support if self-service is unavailable

If no self-service cancellation button is present (common for enterprise accounts), submit a cancellation request via the contact form at akuity.io/contact or email sales@akuity.io. State your organization name and that you wish to cancel your Pro or Enterprise subscription.

Send written cancellation notice

Per Akuity's Terms of Service, monthly plans can be canceled at any time, while annual plans require 30 days written notice before the term renewal date. Ensure your cancellation request is submitted in writing (email counts) before this deadline.

Delete workspaces (optional cleanup)

If you wish to remove all data before cancellation, go to Workspace Settings > scroll to the 'Danger Zone' section > enter the workspace name to confirm > click 'I know what I am doing, delete workspace'. Only Organization Owners can perform this action.

Confirm cancellation and data export

Once Akuity processes your cancellation, request a metrics data export in writing if needed — this is only available for paid plan holders per the Terms of Service. Akuity will confirm when your subscription has been terminated.
