Standard mid-term cancellations do not receive a refund — Mend contracts are annual and prepaid. A pro-rata refund of prepaid amounts is only available if you are terminating due to Mend's material breach of contract (after a 30-day written cure notice period).

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Review your contract renewal date

Check your original contract for the renewal date. Mend requires written cancellation notice at least 60 days before the end of your current term. Missing this window locks you in for another full year. Your contract paperwork or your account manager can confirm the exact date.

Log in to the Mend Support Portal

Go to whitesourcesoftware.my.site.com/SupportPortal/s/ and log in with your Mend credentials. This is the main support channel for enterprise accounts.

Submit a cancellation/non-renewal ticket

Create a new support ticket stating your intent to cancel or not renew your subscription. Reference your account name, contract ID if available, and the desired end date. There is no dedicated 'Cancel Subscription' button — the request must be submitted as a support ticket.

Email sales and support directly

Send written notice of non-renewal to both support@mend.io and sales@mend.io. Written notice via email satisfies the contractual requirement. Include your company name, account ID, and explicit statement that you are not renewing, along with your contract end date.

Engage your account manager

Your assigned Mend account manager will likely reach out to discuss the cancellation. They may offer retention discounts (10–25% off renewal, multi-year deals, or feature add-ons). Be prepared to decline if you wish to proceed with cancellation.
