Can I cancel Sprinto mid-contract?

You can request mid-term cancellation by contacting your Customer Success Manager, but per Sprinto's Terms of Service you remain liable for all charges accrued prior to termination. Prepaid unused amounts are generally not refunded unless Sprinto fails to deliver conforming services.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel early?

Sprinto does not offer standard refunds for early cancellation. The only documented refund path is if Sprinto fails to correct a non-conforming service issue within a reasonable time, in which case you may receive a prorated refund of prepaid unused subscription charges for the remaining term.

What happens to my compliance data after cancellation?

Sprinto retains your data for up to 45 days after the effective termination date. You must request a data export during this window — after 45 days, all service data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

How long does it take to access my account after requesting cancellation?

Your account remains active until the contract end date (or agreed termination date). There is no immediate access cutoff when you submit a cancellation request — the account is deactivated on the effective termination date confirmed in writing by Sprinto.

Can I reactivate my Sprinto account after cancelling?

Yes, you can re-subscribe by contacting Sprinto's sales team. However, previously deleted data cannot be restored once the 45-day post-termination retention window has passed.

I purchased Sprinto through AWS Marketplace — how do I cancel?

If you subscribed via AWS Marketplace, you need to both email support@sprinto.com to initiate cancellation and separately manage the subscription termination through your AWS Marketplace console.

Review your contract terms

Log into your Sprinto account and go to Settings → Plans to confirm your current plan, billing cycle, and contract end date. Note that Sprinto uses annual contracts (12 months, billed upfront) — there is no monthly or self-serve cancellation option.

Locate your Customer Success Manager

Find the name and email of your assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM) from your onboarding emails or in-app account details. The CSM is the primary contact for all contract and billing changes.

Export your compliance data

Before initiating cancellation, request a full data export from within the platform or by contacting support. You only have a 45-day window after account termination to recover your data — after that it is permanently deleted.

Send a written cancellation notice

Email your CSM directly and CC support@sprinto.com. Include your company name, contract or Order Form number, and a clear statement of intent to cancel or not renew. Request written confirmation of the cancellation.

Use in-app chat if email is unresponsive

If you are on a Professional, Advanced, or Enterprise plan, use the in-app live chat (available 24/5) to follow up on your cancellation request. Starter plan customers are limited to email support only.

Confirm termination in writing

Ensure you receive a written termination acknowledgment from Sprinto before your billing date. Keep this on file. If you are on AWS Marketplace, also manage the subscription cancellation through your AWS Marketplace console.
