When does my service actually stop after I cancel?

If you cancel before the 15th of the month, the service is deactivated at the end of that same month. If you cancel after the 15th, it remains active until the end of the following month. You continue to have access until the effective cancellation date.

Will I receive a refund after cancelling?

Afrihost does not advertise pro-rata refunds for unused time. You retain access through the end of your paid billing period, but no partial refunds are typically issued for the remaining days.

Can I reactivate my service after cancelling?

Yes, you can reactivate most services through ClientZone. Log back into your account and follow the sign-up process for the desired service. Note that your previous configuration, data, or hosting content will not be recoverable once deleted.

What happens to my hosting files and emails when I cancel?

All website content, emails, and DNS records associated with a cancelled hosting package are permanently deleted once the cancellation takes effect. Make sure to back up all data before the effective cancellation date.

Can I cancel via email or phone instead?

No. Afrihost requires all cancellations to be submitted through ClientZone. Email cancellation requests are explicitly not accepted. Phone or chat support cannot process cancellations either.

What happens to my VoIP number if I cancel?

Your 087 VoIP number will be recycled and lost. If you want to keep a ported number, contact your new provider directly to port the number away rather than cancelling through Afrihost.

Log in to ClientZone

Go to clientzone.afrihost.com and sign in with your Afrihost account credentials.

Select your service category

Click on the relevant tab at the top of the dashboard: 'Connectivity' (for Fibre, LTE, DSL), 'Mobile' (for AirMobile), 'VoIP', 'Hosting', or 'Other Services' (for Afrihost Plus+).

Choose the package to cancel

From the list on the right-hand side, click on the specific package or service you want to cancel to select it.

Click 'Edit Package'

Click the 'Edit Package' button that appears for the selected service. For Afrihost Plus+, instead click the 'Cancel Afrihost Plus+' button.

Complete the cancellation form

Scroll down to the 'Cancel this Service' section. Fill in any required fields in the cancellation form (reason for cancellation may be requested).

Click 'Cancel this Service'

Click the 'Cancel this Service' button to submit your cancellation request. For Afrihost Plus+, click 'De-Activate', then confirm by clicking 'De-Activate Afrihost Plus+'.

Note the confirmation message

A confirmation will be displayed on screen. Your service will remain active until the end of the current billing month (or the following month if you cancel after the 15th).
