Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Because Toggl Track charges in advance, your workspace stays on the paid plan until the end of the current billing cycle. Paid features remain accessible until that date.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Toggl Track does not issue refunds for the current billing cycle when you cancel. They may issue a refund only if the charge was due to a system error on their end.

What happens to my account and data after cancellation?

If your workspace has 5 or fewer users, it is downgraded to the Free plan and data remains accessible. If it has more than 5 users, the entire organization is suspended. Data may be automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity on the Free plan.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time by returning to the Subscription page and selecting a paid plan. Your historical data should still be available if your account has not been deleted.

Can I cancel a free trial instead of a paid subscription?

Yes. Free trials can also be cancelled from the same Subscription page. Cancelling a trial simply stops the trial and prevents any future charge when the trial period ends.

Can I cancel via the mobile or desktop app?

No. Subscription cancellation must be done through the Toggl Track web app at track.toggl.com. The mobile and desktop apps do not provide billing management options.

Go to Toggl Track web app

Open your browser and go to track.toggl.com. Log in with your credentials. Cancellation can only be done via the web app — not the mobile or desktop apps.

Open the Subscription page

In the left-side navigation menu, click on 'Subscription'. This opens the billing and plan management page.

Locate your active plan

On the Subscription page, find the 'My Plan' section showing your current paid plan details.

Click the three-dot menu

Click the three-dot (⋯) menu button next to your active subscription. A dropdown will appear with plan management options.

Select 'Cancel Subscription'

From the dropdown menu, click 'Cancel Subscription'. A confirmation modal will appear outlining what you will lose upon cancellation.

Confirm cancellation

Work through the confirmation screens acknowledging the terms (e.g., no refund for the current cycle, downgrade to Free or account suspension). Click through to confirm. On the final screen, you can choose to keep your subscription or proceed with cancellation.
