What happens to my unused eSIM data when I delete my account?

Unused data expires at the end of the eSIM validity period and is not refunded. Deleting your Airalo account does not remove eSIM profiles already installed on your device — connectivity continues until the validity period ends, but you can no longer manage or top up the eSIM through the app.

Can I get a refund on an eSIM I purchased?

Airalo allows refunds within 14 days of purchase, but only if the eSIM has not yet been installed on your device. Once installed (even without activating it), the right to a refund is forfeited. If the eSIM failed due to an Airalo technical issue, you can request a refund within 30 days for the unused portion of data.

Can I reactivate my account after deletion?

You have a 7-day grace period after submitting the deletion request — simply log back in to cancel it. After 7 days, deletion is permanent and the account cannot be recovered.

What happens to my Airmoney balance when I delete my account?

All Airmoney (in-app credit) is permanently lost when your account is deleted. Airmoney cannot be converted back to cash or transferred, so spend any balance before proceeding with account deletion.

Will I still be charged after turning off Renewals or deleting my account?

Turning off the Renewals toggle per eSIM stops any future automatic charges for that plan. Since Airalo primarily sells individual packages (not recurring subscriptions), no further charges occur once Renewals are disabled. If you subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel through your device's subscription settings to stop billing.

Does deleting the Airalo app cancel everything?

No. Deleting the app does not cancel any auto-renewals or stop charges. You must disable Renewals inside the app and/or delete your account before removing the app.

Open the Airalo app

Launch the Airalo app on your iOS or Android device. Note that Airalo is an eSIM marketplace — it does not use a traditional recurring subscription. Most users manage auto-renewals per eSIM or delete their account entirely.

Disable auto-renewals (if applicable)

Tap 'My eSIMs' in the bottom navigation bar. Tap 'DETAILS' on the eSIM you want to stop auto-renewing. Scroll to the 'RENEWALS' section and toggle the switch to OFF. Repeat for each eSIM.

Navigate to Account Information

To delete your account, tap the 'Profile' icon (bottom-right of the app). Tap 'Account Information'.

Tap Delete Account

Tap 'Delete Account'. Select a reason for deletion from the list provided, then tap 'Continue'.

Review terms and confirm

Read the displayed terms about what account deletion means (loss of Airmoney, eSIM management access, data deletion). Tap 'Delete Account' to confirm.

Final confirmation

Tap 'Ok, Got It' to complete the request. You have a 7-day grace period — logging back in during this window will cancel the deletion. After 7 days, the account is permanently deleted.
