Can I still use Midjourney after cancelling?

Yes. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, so you retain full access to all features and GPU hours you have already paid for until that date.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Only if your total lifetime GPU usage is under 20 minutes. If eligible, a refund dialog appears automatically during the cancellation flow. The refund is reversed to your original payment method within approximately 10 business days.

Are my images deleted when I cancel?

No. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your generated images or account history. Your creations remain accessible in your Midjourney gallery.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reactivate at any time by returning to midjourney.com/account and selecting a new plan. Your previous images and account data will still be there.

Can I cancel via Discord instead of the website?

Yes. Type /subscribe in any Discord server where the Midjourney Bot is active (or in a DM with the bot). The bot will generate a private billing link; click it and follow the prompts to cancel.

Is there a cancellation fee?

No. Midjourney charges no cancellation fee. You simply lose access to paid features at the end of the current billing cycle.

Sign in to Midjourney

Go to midjourney.com and sign in with your Discord or Google account if not already logged in.

Open account menu

Click your profile icon or username in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar to open the account menu.

Click 'Manage Subscription'

Select 'Manage Subscription' from the menu. This opens your personal billing dashboard at midjourney.com/account.

Click 'Cancel Plan'

On the subscription management page, click the 'Cancel Plan' button.

Answer optional cancellation survey

Midjourney may ask why you are cancelling. You can select a reason or skip this step entirely.

Confirm cancellation

Click the confirmation button to finalize the cancellation. If you have used fewer than 20 GPU minutes lifetime, a refund dialog will automatically appear — select 'Request Refund' if desired, otherwise confirm cancellation without a refund.
