Can I cancel Tipalti mid-contract?

You can send a termination notice at any time, but Tipalti's Services Agreement requires payment of all fees for the remainder of the current subscription term. Early cancellation does not waive outstanding fees — the full remaining balance is due within 30 days of the termination date.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

You should download all transactional data and reports before your term ends, as access to the platform terminates at the end of the contract period. You may request Tipalti's assistance in exporting data during the active term, though this assistance may be at your expense.

Will my contract auto-renew if I forget to cancel?

Yes. Tipalti contracts renew automatically for successive terms (default 12 months if not otherwise specified in your order form) unless written notice of termination is sent to legal@tipalti.com at least 30 days before the end of the current term. Missing this window means you are committed to another full term.

Are there any refunds after cancellation?

Tipalti does not offer pro-rated refunds. If you cancel mid-term, you are still obligated to pay all fees through the end of the current subscription term. Refunds are generally not part of their standard Services Agreement.

Log in to your Tipalti Hub and locate your contract or order form to identify the exact end date of your current subscription term. Tipalti contracts auto-renew for 12-month periods, so you must act at least 30 days before that date or you will be locked into another full year.

Follow up to obtain written confirmation from Tipalti that your termination notice has been received and recorded. Keep this confirmation for your records. Ensure all outstanding fees for the current term are settled — payment of any balance owed is due within 30 days of the termination date.
