Will I lose access to my data immediately after cancelling?

No. If you downgrade to the Free Forever plan, you retain one month of data storage and keep access until your current billing period ends. If you delete your account entirely, all data is immediately and permanently erased.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Monthly plan subscribers are not eligible for refunds. Annual Standard plan subscribers (Essential, Advanced, Premium) get a 14-day money-back guarantee from the original purchase date — one time per account. Contact support@mouseflow.com or use in-app chat to request it. Renewals are not covered.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes, if you downgraded to the Free Forever plan (not deleted). Your settings and configurations are preserved and you can upgrade again at any time. If you deleted your account, there is nothing to reactivate and all data is gone permanently.

Who is allowed to cancel the subscription?

Only the Account Owner can access billing settings and cancel or downgrade the subscription. Team members added to the account do not have this permission.

How do I cancel an Enterprise plan?

Enterprise plan cancellations require written notice sent to sales.ep@mouseflow.com at least 30 days before your next renewal date. Notices received after this window will not prevent automatic renewal.

Does cancelling remove the tracking script from my website?

No. You must manually remove the Mouseflow tracking script snippet from your website's HTML. Cancelling or deleting your account does not automatically stop data collection from your site.

Log in as Account Owner

Log in to your Mouseflow account at app.mouseflow.com. Note: only the Account Owner can cancel — team members do not have access to billing settings.

Go to Billing settings

Navigate to the Billing page at https://app.mouseflow.com/account/billing?upgrade (or go to Account → Billing in the left sidebar).

Click 'Change' next to Current Plan

On the Billing page, find the 'Current Plan' field and click the 'Change' button next to it. A plan selection pop-up will appear.

Select 'Free Forever Plan'

In the plan selection pop-up, scroll to the bottom and select 'Free Forever Plan'. This effectively cancels your paid subscription without deleting your account or data.

Confirm the downgrade

Confirm the selection. By default, the downgrade takes effect at your next billing date. If you want it to take effect immediately, look for the 'Downgrade Now' banner at the top of the Billing page and click that button instead.

(Optional) Delete account permanently

If you want to fully delete your account and all data, go to https://app.mouseflow.com/account, scroll to the bottom, and click 'Delete Account'. Confirm the action. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Remove tracking script from your website

Cancellation does NOT automatically remove the Mouseflow tracking script from your website. Manually delete the script snippet from your site's HTML to stop data collection.
