Review your contract terms

Check your Gem subscription agreement for the notice period required to cancel or non-renew. Gem plans are billed annually (some customers have multi-year contracts). Per Gem's Terms of Service, fees paid for the current term are non-refundable, and written notice is required.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out directly to your dedicated Gem Customer Success Manager via email or Slack to notify them of your intent to cancel or not renew. If you don't know who your CSM is, email support@gem.com with 'Subscription Cancellation' in the subject line.

Submit written cancellation notice

Send a formal written cancellation or non-renewal notice to your CSM and/or support@gem.com. Clearly state your company name, the cancellation effective date, and that you are requesting termination at the end of the current billing term. Confirm cancellation in writing
