Can I access Sisense after cancellation?

Access continues until the end of your contracted subscription term. Once the term expires and non-renewal is confirmed, access to dashboards, ElastiCubes, and the Sisense portal is terminated.

Are there refunds if I cancel mid-contract?

Sisense enterprise contracts are generally non-refundable for the current subscription term. Cancellation (non-renewal) takes effect at the end of the current contract period — you will not receive a prorated refund for unused months.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Per Sisense's Data Processing Addendum, your data is typically retained for a limited period (often 30–90 days) after contract termination, after which it is deleted. You should export all data before your termination date. You can request data deletion in writing to comply with GDPR or similar regulations.

Can I reactivate my Sisense subscription after cancelling?

Yes, you can reactivate by contacting your Sisense Account Executive and signing a new contract. Historical data and configurations may or may not be recoverable depending on how long ago the account was terminated.

What if I miss the 60-day notice window?

If you fail to provide notice at least 60 days before your renewal date, your contract will automatically renew for another 12-month term under the same terms. Contact your CSM immediately if you've just missed the window — in some cases Sisense may make exceptions, but it is not guaranteed.

Is there a self-service cancellation option in the Sisense portal?

No. Sisense does not offer a self-service cancellation button. All cancellations must go through your Customer Success Manager or a formal written notice to your Account Executive, plus a support ticket via supportportal.sisense.com.

Review your contract renewal date

Log in to your Sisense account and locate your contract or Sales Order to find your subscription end date. Sisense requires written notice at least 60 days before the renewal date to prevent automatic renewal for another 12-month term.

Export your data

Before initiating cancellation, export all dashboards, reports, and data models you need. In Sisense, go to Admin > Export or use the REST API to back up ElastiCubes and dashboard JSON files.

Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM)

Reach out directly to your assigned Customer Success Manager or Account Executive via email or phone. If you do not know their contact, call Sisense at (646) 432-1507 or email your account team. This is the primary cancellation channel for enterprise contracts.

Submit a support ticket as written notice

Log in to the Sisense Support Portal at supportportal.sisense.com, click 'Submit a Case', select 'Account & Billing' as the category, and submit a ticket explicitly stating your intent not to renew. This creates a timestamped written record of your cancellation notice.

Send formal written non-renewal notice

Send a written non-renewal notice via email to your Account Executive and CC legal@sisense.com. The Sisense Master Subscription Agreement requires written notice no less than 60 days prior to the expiration date. State your company name, subscription details, and that you elect not to renew.

Obtain written confirmation

Request and retain written confirmation from Sisense that your cancellation notice has been received and processed. Ask them to confirm your exact service end date and that no auto-renewal will occur.
