Export your data before cancelling
Log into your ServiceTitan account and export all critical data. Go to Settings > Data Export to download customer records, job history, invoices, and technician records. You will only have read-only access for 60 days after cancellation, so export everything first.
Review your contract terms
Check your ServiceTitan agreement for the contract end date and early termination fee (ETF) clauses. ServiceTitan typically sells annual or multi-year contracts. Cancelling mid-term may trigger an ETF equal to the remaining contract value. Find your contract in Settings > Account > Billing or contact your Account Manager.
Send written cancellation notice by email
Send a cancellation request email to billing@servicetitan.com with subject line 'Cancellation Request – [Your Company Name]'. Include your company name, account email address, account ID (found under Settings > Company), and the requested cancellation date. Month-to-month subscribers must provide at least 30 days written notice before the next billing date to avoid being charged for another period.
Call ServiceTitan billing to confirm
Call ServiceTitan at 1-800-970-2250 and select the Billing option. Reference your emailed cancellation request. A billing representative will confirm receipt, review your contract status, and discuss any outstanding balance or early termination fee. Ask for a written confirmation of the cancellation date.
Negotiate or acknowledge retention offers
ServiceTitan's retention team may offer a discounted rate, a contract pause, or a downgrade to a lower tier plan to keep you on. If you have decided to cancel, decline these offers and insist on receiving written confirmation of your cancellation date and final billing amount.
Receive written cancellation confirmation
Wait for a confirmation email from ServiceTitan billing (typically within 1–3 business days). The email will state your official cancellation effective date and confirm no further charges after that date. Save this email as proof of cancellation.
