Will I get a refund if I cancel?

No. LogRocket's Terms state all amounts paid are non-refundable for convenience cancellations. The only exception is if LogRocket itself breaches the agreement, in which case a prorated refund for unused services may apply.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

LogRocket states it has no obligation to maintain or provide customer data after termination and may delete it. There is no documented grace period, so export any session recordings or analytics you need before cancelling.

Can I downgrade to the Free plan instead of cancelling?

Yes. LogRocket offers a permanent Free plan (1,000 sessions/month, 1 month data retention). You can downgrade to it via the Plans page rather than fully cancelling, keeping your account and data active.

Do I need to cancel before a specific deadline on an annual plan?

Yes. Annual Professional and Enterprise plans require 30 days' written notice before the term expiration date to prevent auto-renewal. Failing to do so means you will be billed for another full annual term.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade from the Free tier to a paid plan at any time to reactivate. If you cancelled entirely, contact LogRocket support to restore your account.

Who can cancel a LogRocket subscription?

Only organization admins have access to the Billing Settings section. Regular members do not see the Plans page or the Cancel Subscription button.

Log in to LogRocket

Go to https://app.logrocket.com and sign in with your account credentials. You must be an organization admin to access billing settings.

Open Settings

Click your profile or organization icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open the account menu.

Navigate to Plans

Select 'Settings' from the menu, then click 'Plans' in the left sidebar. This takes you to https://app.logrocket.com/r/settings/plans where your current plan and next billing date are displayed.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll to the Billing Settings section and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button under your current plan details.

Complete the exit survey

LogRocket presents a cancellation survey asking why you are leaving. Fill it out and proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Yes, Cancel' on the confirmation prompt to finalize cancellation. A confirmation email will be sent from LogRocket Support.
