Will I get a refund after canceling?

No. All payments are non-refundable per Front's SaaS Services Agreement, including annual subscriptions canceled mid-term. No credits or partial refunds are issued under any circumstances.

Can I still access my data after canceling?

Yes, for up to 30 days after the subscription end date. You can log in, search conversation history, and view analytics, but you cannot send messages or create new resources. Knowledge bases become inaccessible immediately on the termination date.

When is my data permanently deleted?

Front automatically and permanently deletes all customer data 30 days after the subscription termination date. To request an earlier deletion, a company admin must contact Front support with: 'Request to hard delete [Customer name]'s account.'

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes, at any point before the subscription end date. Go to Settings → Billing → 'Upcoming plan at renewal' tab and click 'Re-enable subscription'.

How do I export my data before the account is deleted?

Contact Front support before your 30-day post-termination window expires. Include 'Please send me a data export before deleting' in your request. Data cannot be recovered after deletion begins.

Who is allowed to cancel the subscription?

Only a company admin can cancel. Standard teammates do not have access to the Billing tab and cannot initiate cancellation.

Open Company Settings

Click the gear icon in the top area of the Front app to open Company Settings. Only a company admin can cancel — teammates without admin permissions will not see the Billing tab.

Navigate to Billing

In the left sidebar, click 'Billing'.

Select 'Upcoming plan at renewal' tab

On the Billing page, click the 'Upcoming plan at renewal' tab.

Click 'Cancel plan'

Click the 'Cancel plan' button on this tab.

Acknowledge consequences

A confirmation screen appears listing what will be lost. Check the acknowledgment checkbox to confirm you understand the consequences of cancellation.

Complete exit survey

Select all applicable reasons for cancelling in the mandatory multi-select exit survey. You must complete this step before the cancellation is finalized.

Confirm cancellation

Click the 'Cancel Plan' button to finalize. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
