Can I still use Anima after cancelling?

Yes. You retain full paid-plan access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan (1 active project limit). Your projects are locked rather than deleted — you can archive one to access another.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Anima offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. Cancelling alone is not enough — you must email support@animaapp.com with a refund request within 7 days of the charge. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

Since your account downgrades to Free rather than being deleted, you can reactivate at any time by going to Team Settings > Plan and Billing and selecting an upgrade option.

Will my project data be deleted when I cancel?

No. Projects are locked (not deleted) when you exceed the Free plan's 1-project limit. Your data is retained and becomes accessible again if you reactivate a paid plan or archive projects to stay within the free tier.

How do I cancel if I paid via PayPal?

Anima no longer accepts new PayPal subscriptions, but legacy PayPal subscribers must cancel through PayPal directly: PayPal Settings > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments > find 'Anima' or 'Apperry Ltd' > Cancel.

What happens to team members after cancellation?

After downgrading to the Free plan, collaboration features are limited. The team workspace remains but paid-only features (such as unlimited projects, advanced code export, and unlimited AI messages) are restricted until a paid plan is reactivated.

Log in to Anima

Go to https://projects.animaapp.com and sign in to your account.

Open Team Settings

Click your team name or avatar in the top-right corner to open the team menu, then select 'Team Settings'.

Go to Plan and Billing

In Team Settings, click the 'Plan and Billing' section in the left sidebar or main settings area.

Find Manage Plan

Scroll down to the 'Manage plan' section on the Plan and Billing page.

Click Cancel Plan

Click the 'Cancel plan' button. If the button appears greyed out or missing, contact support@animaapp.com to complete cancellation manually.

Confirm Cancellation

Confirm the cancellation in the dialog that appears. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, then the account downgrades to the Free plan automatically.
