Prepare your account for closure

Before cancelling, migrate any recurring charges to another payment method and redeem all accumulated Brex Points for statement credit — unredeemed points are permanently forfeited upon closure. Also ensure your outstanding balance is paid in full.

Log in and open Company Settings

Log in to your Brex dashboard at dashboard.brex.com, then click your company name in the top-right corner and select 'Company Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Account management

In Company Settings, scroll down to the 'Banking' section and click 'Account management'.

Initiate account closure

To close all business accounts, click 'Close all accounts'. To close a single account, click 'Close' next to the specific account you want to terminate. A pop-up window will appear.

Confirm accounts and get started

In the pop-up, review the accounts listed for closure, confirm the destination account for any remaining funds transfer, then click 'Get started'.

Review closure steps and select a reason

Read through the closure process overview and click 'Next'. You will then be prompted to select a reason for closing your account from a dropdown list — choose the most appropriate option and click 'Next'.

Accept Terms & Conditions and confirm

Review the Terms & Conditions for account closure, check the agreement box, then click 'Close all business accounts' (or 'Close account' for a single account) to finalize the closure.
