No. Both Sponsorship and Clutch Verified plans require a minimum 12-month commitment. Cancellation is only possible after the initial 12-month term has been completed. Downgrades and cancellations are not permitted during this period.

What happens to my profile after I cancel?

Your free Clutch profile remains active and visible after cancellation. However, you will lose paid placement at the top of category listing pages, your Clutch Verified badge, and any other paid visibility benefits.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-billing period?

Clutch does not document any refund policy for cancellations. Based on their billing terms and user reports, refunds for unused periods are not offered. Pro-rata billing is only mentioned for plan upgrades, not cancellations.

How do I reactivate my Clutch subscription after cancelling?

To reactivate, contact your previous Account Manager or reach out via clutch.co/advertise to speak with the sales team. You will need to sign a new contract, which will start a new 12-month minimum commitment period.

What if I miss the 5-business-day cancellation deadline?

If your cancellation request is received fewer than 5 business days before your renewal date, Clutch will auto-renew your subscription for another month and you will be billed accordingly. You can then cancel for the following month.

Confirm eligibility to cancel

Log in to your Clutch Vendor Dashboard and check your renewal date. Both Sponsorship and Clutch Verified require a minimum 12-month commitment before cancellation is possible. Cancellation is not available during the initial 12-month term.

Locate your Account Manager contact

In the Vendor Dashboard, find the email address of your assigned Account Manager displayed in the top-right corner. This is the contact you must use to request cancellation of a Sponsorship plan.

Send a written cancellation request by email

Email your Account Manager directly to request cancellation. If you cannot reach them, email sponsorship@clutch.co. For Clutch Verified plans, contact support instead via the form at https://help.clutch.co/contact-us.

Submit at least 5 business days before renewal

Ensure your cancellation request is received at least five (5) business days before your renewal date. Missing this window will cause the subscription to auto-renew for another month with no refund.

Await confirmation from Clutch

Wait for a confirmation response from your Account Manager or Clutch support (typically 1–2 business days). Keep this confirmation for your records. If you do not receive a response, follow up to confirm cancellation was processed.
