Will I lose access to Cypress Cloud immediately after cancelling?

No. Your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account downgrades to the free Starter plan, which includes 500 test results/month and 30-day data retention.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Cypress does not publish an explicit refund policy. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle with no refunds for partial months. Contact support@cypress.io to ask about refunds in your specific case.

What happens to my test data after I cancel?

Downgrading to the Starter plan limits data retention to 30 days — test results older than 30 days become inaccessible. If you delete your account entirely, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade from the free Starter plan back to a paid Team, Business, or Enterprise plan at any time via the Billing & Usage section in your Organization Settings.

Is there a free plan I can fall back to instead of fully cancelling?

Yes. The Starter plan is permanently free with no credit card required. It includes 500 test results/month, 30-day data retention, and up to 50 users. Downgrading to it is effectively cancelling your paid subscription.

Can I cancel by email instead of through the website?

Yes. Email support@cypress.io and request a plan cancellation or downgrade. This is the recommended path for Enterprise customers or anyone unable to complete the self-serve flow.

Log in to Cypress Cloud

Go to cloud.cypress.io and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Organization Settings

In the left sidebar, click on your organization name or the Settings option to open Organization Settings.

Go to Billing & Usage

In the Organization Settings menu, select 'Billing & Usage' from the left sidebar.

Change or cancel your plan

On the Billing & Usage page, locate the plan management options. Click 'Change Plan' or the equivalent button to downgrade to the free Starter plan, which effectively cancels your paid subscription. Alternatively, click 'Cancel Plan' if that option is displayed.

Confirm the cancellation

Review the confirmation dialog showing what features you will lose, then confirm your decision to cancel or downgrade. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
