Is Google Analytics a paid subscription?

Deleting a property removes only that property and its data streams while leaving other properties in the account intact. Sign in to Google Analytics

Go to https://analytics.google.com and sign in with the Google account that has Administrator access to the account you want to delete.

Open the Admin panel

Click the gear icon labeled 'Admin' in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard to open the Admin settings panel.

Select the correct account

In the 'Account' column (leftmost), use the account dropdown to confirm you have the right account selected. Double-check before proceeding — deletion affects all properties under this account.

Open Account details

Under the Account column, click 'Account details' (in GA4) or 'Account Settings' (in older interfaces). This opens the account-level settings page.

Click 'Move to Trash Can'

Scroll to the bottom of the Account details page and click the 'Move to Trash Can' button. This initiates the deletion process for the entire account and all its properties.

Confirm deletion

A confirmation dialog will appear warning you about the consequences. Click 'Move Account to Trash Can' to confirm. The account enters a 35-day grace period before permanent deletion.
