No. Cancelling stops auto-renewal but your premium access continues through the end of your current billing period (weekly, monthly, or annual).

Does deleting the app cancel my subscription?

No. Deleting the Headway app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel explicitly through the website, App Store, or Google Play Store.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

For web/direct purchases, refunds are at Headway's discretion — contact support@get-headway.com. For App Store purchases, request a refund via Apple's report-a-problem page. For Google Play purchases, go to support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.

How far in advance do I need to cancel before my renewal date?

Cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to avoid being charged. Cancellations made within 24 hours of renewal may not prevent the next charge.

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through the Headway app or website. Your account data and reading history are retained after cancellation.

Log in to Headway web portal

Go to makeheadway.com in your browser and log in with your account credentials. If you forgot your password, reset it inside the mobile app first, then use those credentials on the website.

Open Account Settings

After logging in, navigate to your Account Settings or the Subscription / Billing section from your profile menu.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Find and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button on the subscription management page.

Complete feedback questionnaire

Answer all questions in the cancellation feedback form. Users report this questionnaire is mandatory — skipping or leaving questions blank may block the cancellation from completing.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your cancellation on the final screen. You should receive a confirmation email. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
