Will my 3D spaces be deleted when I cancel?

No, spaces are not immediately deleted. They are set to private (all shared links stop working) at the end of your billing cycle, but remain in your account. Resubscribing to any paid plan restores access to all spaces.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my annual plan early?

No. Matterport does not issue refunds for cancellations — neither monthly nor annual plans. Annual plans are billed upfront and cancellation only stops the next renewal; you lose any remaining months without a pro-rated refund.

Can I export my 3D models before cancelling?

Yes, and you should do so before cancelling. Once your subscription is terminated you lose the ability to export Customer Image Data and Matterport Digital Assets. Export your content or use the Matterport 3D Showcase app (iOS) to download tours offline before cancelling.

How do I cancel if I'm billed through the App Store or Google Play?

If you subscribed via iOS, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Matterport → Cancel Subscription. For Android, open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Matterport → Cancel subscription.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes. Log back in to my.matterport.com and subscribe to any current plan — all your spaces will be restored. Note that legacy 'Classic' plan tiers are no longer available for reactivation; only current plans can be purchased.

Can someone other than the Account Owner cancel the subscription?

No. Only the Account Owner can initiate a cancellation. Billing Contacts have limited permissions — they can only undo a pending cancellation, not start one.

Log in to Matterport

Go to my.matterport.com and log in with your Account Owner credentials. Note: only the Account Owner can cancel — Billing Contacts cannot initiate cancellation.

Open account menu

Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Go to Settings

Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing tab

Click the 'Billing' tab in the Settings page to view your current subscription and payment details.

Click 'Change Plan'

Click the 'Change Plan' button (note: there is no direct 'Cancel' button — cancellation is accessed through the plan change flow).

Select 'Cancel Subscription'

From the plan options presented, select 'Cancel Subscription' at the bottom or in the plan change menu.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm when prompted. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. An 'Undo Cancellation' option remains available until midnight PST on your renewal date.
