Will my pages stay live if I downgrade to the free plan?

Only the 1 page you keep published stays visible to customers. All others are unpublished (not live) but remain fully editable inside PageFly. You can republish them if you upgrade again.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Refunds are only granted for major platform issues causing data loss or serious service disruption, and must be requested within 7 days of the charge date. Refunds are not given for change of mind or accidental purchases. Contact PageFly via Live Chat before uninstalling — support cannot assist once the app is uninstalled.

Can I reactivate after canceling?

Yes — upgrading to a paid plan at any time restores your full slot count and all previously saved (but unpublished) pages. However, if you fully uninstalled the app, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered even by reinstalling.

What happens to my Shopify store if I fully uninstall PageFly?

Your store reverts to default Shopify theme templates wherever PageFly pages were used, which can break your storefront layout. PageFly may also leave code residues in your theme that require manual cleanup.

Is there a charge if I uninstall mid-billing cycle?

Shopify charges the full billing cycle amount even if you uninstall mid-cycle. You can contact PageFly Live Chat to request a prorated refund — they will submit the request to Shopify on your behalf, though approval is not guaranteed.

What is the difference between downgrading and uninstalling?

Downgrading to the free plan cancels billing but keeps all your pages and data intact inside PageFly. Fully uninstalling the app cancels billing AND permanently deletes all pages, sections, templates, and analytics data with no recovery option.

Open PageFly in Shopify admin

Go to Preferences > Account

Inside the PageFly dashboard, click 'Preferences' in the left sidebar, then select 'Account'.

Unpublish extra pages (if on paid plan)

Before downgrading, unpublish all but 1 published page/section. The free plan allows only 1 published slot — you must reduce your published count to 1 before the free plan option becomes selectable.

Click 'Change Plan'

In the 'PageFly Plan' section on the Account page, click the 'Change Plan' button to open the pricing table.

Select the FREE plan

In the plan selection screen, choose the FREE plan ($0/month, 1 published slot, all features retained).

Click 'Proceed to Payment'

Review the updated billing summary showing $0 recurring charge, then click 'Proceed to Payment'.

Click 'Approve' to confirm

A Shopify billing confirmation screen appears. Click 'Approve' to finalize the downgrade. Your paid subscription is canceled immediately and no future charges will occur.
