Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period. You retain full access to Qlik Sense until that date. You can also undo the cancellation at any time before the period ends by returning to My Qlik.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Qlik's standard policy does not offer prorated refunds for unused subscription time on Qlik Sense Business plans. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge but does not refund the current period. Enterprise customers should review their contract terms or contact their account manager for refund eligibility.

What happens to my data after the subscription ends?

After the subscription period expires, access to your Qlik Cloud tenant is suspended. Qlik typically retains tenant data for a grace period (commonly 30 days) before permanent deletion, but the exact data retention window is governed by your subscription agreement. Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

What if I bought Qlik through a reseller or marketplace?

How do I cancel a free trial of Qlik Sense Business?

Go to My Qlik portal

Navigate to https://account.myqlik.qlik.com/ and sign in with your Qlik account credentials. This is the self-service subscription management portal. Note: if you purchased through a third-party reseller, you must contact them directly — My Qlik will not show a cancel option.

Select your subscription

On the My Qlik dashboard, locate the Qlik Sense Business subscription you want to cancel. Click on it to open the subscription details overview, which shows status, start date, and end date.

Click 'Manage'

Within the subscription detail view, click the 'Manage' button to open subscription management options including seat adjustments and cancellation.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

In the management panel, click the 'Cancel subscription' option. This opens a cancellation confirmation dialog explaining that access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Acknowledge the confirmation dialog

In the confirmation dialog, check the 'I Understand' checkbox to confirm you acknowledge the cancellation terms (access ends at period end, data may be deleted after expiry).

Click 'Confirm'

Click the 'Confirm' button to finalize the cancellation request. You will receive a confirmation and the subscription status will update to show a pending cancellation end date.

Enterprise/legacy subscriptions: contact Qlik directly

If you have a Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS, Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, or a perpetual/maintenance license (not a self-service Business subscription), you cannot cancel via My Qlik. Instead, email maintenance@qlik.com or DL-SubscriptionRenewals@qlik.com with your license key and reason for cancellation, or contact your Qlik account manager.
