What happens to my models and data after I cancel?

Sketchfab will not delete your models. All your stats are saved and private models remain private. However, you will not be able to access or share a private model unless you re-upgrade to a paid plan or make the model public. If you exceed the free plan's limits for features like annotations, you will not be able to edit those settings until you upgrade again.

Will I get a refund after cancelling?

Sketchfab's official documentation does not mention a refund policy for subscription cancellations. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. You retain access to your paid features until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.

When does my paid access end after cancellation?

After cancelling, your Pro or Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period (monthly or yearly). After that date, your account reverts to the free Basic plan.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

You can reactivate at any time by visiting sketchfab.com/plans, choosing a plan, and completing payment via PayPal. Your models and account data are preserved even after downgrading, so everything will be intact when you reactivate.

I paid with a credit card (PayPal Guest) — how do I cancel?

If you paid via PayPal Guest checkout without a PayPal account, you cannot cancel through the PayPal dashboard. You need to contact Sketchfab/FAB support directly at support.fab.com (choose 'Sketchfab' as the product) and request cancellation through their support team.

Can I cancel a yearly plan early?

Yes, you can cancel a yearly plan at any time through PayPal. However, Sketchfab does not appear to offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of an annual subscription. Access continues until the annual period expires.

Go to your Sketchfab account settings

Log in to your Sketchfab account at sketchfab.com, then click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Check your current membership

In Settings, locate the 'Membership' or 'Plans' section to confirm your active subscription tier (Pro or Premium) and your billing method.

Log in to your PayPal account

Open a new tab and go to paypal.com. Log in with the PayPal account used to pay for your Sketchfab membership. Note: if you paid via PayPal Guest (credit/debit card without a PayPal account), skip to step 7.

Open PayPal Settings

Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner of the PayPal dashboard.

Navigate to Payments

In Settings, click the 'Payments' tab, then click 'Manage Automatic Payments' to see all active subscriptions billed through PayPal.

Find and select Sketchfab

Locate 'Sketchfab' in the list of automatic payments and click on it to open the subscription details page.

Cancel the subscription

Click 'Cancel' or 'Cancel Automatic Payments'. PayPal will ask you to confirm — click 'Cancel Automatic Payments' again to finalize. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email. If you paid via PayPal Guest, contact Sketchfab support at support.fab.com instead, as you cannot cancel through the PayPal dashboard.
