Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Your paid subscription remains fully active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan (50 monitors, 5-minute check intervals, non-commercial use only).

Can I get a refund after canceling?

UptimeRobot offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions and upgrades. Contact support@uptimerobot.com within 14 days of payment to request a refund. Annual prepayments are not refunded outside this window.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time through the Billing, Plan & Subscription section. Your account data and monitors are preserved during the free plan period, so reactivation is seamless.

What happens to my monitors when I downgrade to the free plan?

You keep up to 50 monitors on the free plan. If you had more than 50 monitors on a paid plan, UptimeRobot may pause the monitors that exceed the free plan limit. Check intervals also revert to 5 minutes.

Will my data be deleted after I cancel?

No. Canceling does not delete your account or monitoring data. Data is retained indefinitely. To fully delete your account and data, you must contact UptimeRobot support at support@uptimerobot.com directly.

Is the free plan available for business use after downgrading?

No. Since November 2024, UptimeRobot's free plan is restricted to non-commercial use only. Businesses must subscribe to a paid plan or find an alternative service.

Go to uptimerobot.com and log in to your UptimeRobot account.

Open the ellipsis menu

Click the three-dot ellipsis menu ('...') in the top navigation or account area of the dashboard.

Go to Billing, Plan & Subscription

Select 'Billing, Plan & Subscription' from the dropdown menu.

Click Cancel Auto-Renewal

Find your active subscription and click the 'Cancel Auto-Renewal' button. Alternatively, go to My Settings → Account profile → Plan section → 'Manage subscription' → 'Cancel subscription'.
