No. After canceling, you retain access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. Access is not cut off immediately.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Writer reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis and is not obligated to issue one. Contact support@writer.com promptly after canceling if you believe you qualify for a refund.

What happens to my content and data after cancellation?

Your content remains accessible until the subscription expires. Once the paid plan ends, features and data associated with paid tiers may become inaccessible. Export important content before your billing period ends.

Can I reactivate my Writer subscription later?

Yes. You can reactivate by returning to Org settings → Billing and selecting a new plan at any time.

How do Enterprise plan customers cancel?

Enterprise plans are managed through a sales contract. Enterprise customers must contact their dedicated account manager or email support@writer.com to initiate cancellation — there is no self-serve cancel button for Enterprise accounts.

What if I'm on a free trial and want to cancel?

If you are on a 14-day free trial, you can simply let it expire (no charge is made) or follow the same Org settings → Billing path and cancel the trial plan to prevent it from converting to a paid subscription.

Log in to Writer

Go to app.writer.com and sign in with your credentials as an org admin. Only the billing admin or org owner can cancel the plan.

Open Org Settings

In the left-hand sidebar, click 'Org settings' at the bottom of the navigation panel.

Go to Billing

Inside Org settings, select the 'Billing' tab from the settings menu.

Click 'Cancel plan'

On the Billing page, locate your current active plan. Click the 'Cancel plan' button associated with it.

Confirm cancellation

A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the terms (access retained until end of billing period) and confirm by clicking the confirmation button to finalize the cancellation.
