Can I downgrade to a cheaper plan instead of cancelling?

For Looker (Google Cloud core) enterprise, you cannot change the edition type on an existing instance. You would need to work with Google sales to provision a new lower-tier instance. For Looker Studio Pro, you can simply cancel and continue using the free Looker Studio tier.

Sign in to Looker Studio

Go to lookerstudio.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns the Pro subscription.

Open Pro subscription settings

In the left navigation panel, click 'Pro subscription' to view your active subscriptions.

Locate your subscription

Find the Google Cloud project associated with the subscription you want to cancel.

Click Cancel

Click the 'Cancel' button next to the subscription. A confirmation dialog will appear.

In the confirmation dialog, type the word 'Cancel' (capital C, in English — exact match required) in the text field provided.

Confirm cancellation

Click the 'Cancel subscription' button to finalize. Processing takes several minutes. You will retain access to Pro features for a 30-day grace period.
