When does access end after canceling?

Access continues for all team members until the end of the current paid billing period. The account is not shut off immediately upon cancellation.

Will team members lose their personal Evernote notes?

No. Personal individual Evernote accounts are completely separate from the Teams account. Only team content (shared notebooks, team notes) becomes inaccessible after the billing period ends.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Refunds are available if requested within 2 days of a monthly payment or within 60 days of an annual payment. No prorated refunds are offered for partially used periods. Contact Evernote Support to request one.

Can I reactivate the Teams account later and recover data?

Yes. Evernote preserves team content during the inactive period. Log back in with the original admin email and you will be prompted to update payment details and choose a plan — all prior content is restored upon reactivation.

Self-service cancellation only takes effect at the end of the current billing period. To cancel immediately mid-cycle, you must contact Evernote Support directly.

Sign in as admin

Go to evernote.com and sign in using the Teams account admin email and password. Only the account admin can cancel — regular team members cannot access billing settings.

Open the Admin Console

Click your account avatar or name in the top-right corner of the Evernote interface, then select 'Admin Console' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing

In the left-hand navigation panel of the Admin Console, click 'Billing' (sometimes labeled 'Billing Information') to open your subscription details.

Export team data (recommended)

Before canceling, export all team notebooks from the Admin Console. After the billing period ends, all team content becomes inaccessible — Evernote warns that content should be exported in advance.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

On the Billing page, locate your active Teams subscription and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen confirmation prompts to finalize the cancellation. You will receive an email confirmation once the cancellation is processed.
