Do I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. You retain full access to your paid plan features until the end of the current billing period (monthly or annual). There is no immediate cutoff.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Per Resend's Terms of Service, paid subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. There are no prorated refunds for unused days.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can log back in and resubscribe to any plan from the Billing settings page at any time. Cancelling does not delete your account or data.

What happens to my emails and data after cancellation?

Your account and data are retained after cancellation — only account deletion removes data. Resend retains email logs and events for 30 days by default. Cancelling a subscription alone does not delete anything.

Can I downgrade instead of cancelling completely?

Yes. Resend offers a permanent free plan with 3,000 emails/month, 100 emails/day, and 1 domain. You can switch to it instead of cancelling outright from the same Billing settings page.

How do I fully delete my Resend account?

To permanently delete your account, go to Settings, leave any team associated with your account, then click 'Delete account' and confirm. This is irreversible and removes all data.

Log in to Resend

Go to resend.com and log in to your account.

Open Settings

Click your profile or account icon in the sidebar, then select 'Settings'.

Go to Billing

In the left sidebar of Settings, click the 'Billing' tab.

Find your active plan

On the Billing page, locate your current paid plan listed under active subscriptions.

Open the plan menu

Click the three-dot menu icon (⋯) next to your current plan.

Select Cancel Subscription

From the dropdown, click 'Cancel Subscription'.

Complete exit survey

If prompted, complete the brief exit survey explaining your reason for cancelling.

Confirm cancellation

Click the final confirmation button to finalize the cancellation. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered address.
