Will my account be deleted when I cancel?

No. Your account is not deleted — it reverts to the Free plan, which includes 5,000 occurrences/month and 30-day data retention. You retain access through the end of your paid billing period.

Can I get a refund if I cancel early?

No. Rollbar's Terms of Service state that all fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends but receive no pro-rata refund. Annual subscribers also receive no refund for unused months.

What happens to my error data after I cancel?

Your account downgrades to the Free plan with a 30-day data retention limit. Any historical data older than 30 days will eventually be purged. There is no self-service data export tool, so export or back up any critical data before cancelling.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade again at any time via Account Settings → Choose Plan. Upgrades are charged immediately and take effect right away.

Do I need to contact support to cancel?

No. Cancellation is fully self-service through the UI at Account Settings → Choose Plan → Cancel subscription. Support can assist if you encounter issues.

What if my Rollbar account is billed through Heroku or GitHub Marketplace?

If your account was created through Heroku or GitHub Marketplace, you must cancel through those platforms' billing interfaces, not directly in Rollbar. You can optionally migrate to Rollbar's native billing first.

Log in to Rollbar

Go to rollbar.com and log in to your account with your credentials.

Open Account Settings

Click on your account name or the settings gear icon in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then select 'Account Settings'.

Navigate to Choose Plan

In the Account Settings left sidebar, click 'Choose Plan' to open the plan management page.

Scroll to cancellation option

Scroll to the bottom of the Choose Plan page to find the cancellation option.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Click the 'Cancel subscription' button located at the bottom of the Choose Plan page.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free plan (5,000 occurrences/month, 30-day data retention).
