If you downgrade to the Free plan, you retain access to your account and apps but are subject to Free plan limits (5 cloud users / 20 self-hosted users). Log in to Budibase Account Portal

Go to https://account.budibase.app and sign in with your Budibase credentials.

Navigate to Billing and Usage

In the Account Portal, click 'Settings' in the bottom-left navigation, then select 'Billing and Usage' from the top navigation bar.

Open the Upgrade Plan screen

Click the 'Upgrade' or 'Manage Plan' button. Budibase routes subscription changes through the upgrade flow — there is no dedicated 'Cancel' button.

Select the Free plan

Choose the 'Free' plan tier to downgrade. This effectively cancels your paid subscription. Confirm the plan change when prompted.

Confirm downgrade

Review the confirmation dialog showing your new plan limits (5 cloud users / 20 self-hosted users) and click 'Confirm' or 'Downgrade' to complete the cancellation.
