Will I lose access to Act! immediately after cancelling?

Yes. Access to the Act! application is removed immediately upon termination of your subscription. You will not be able to log in after cancellation takes effect.

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-term?

No. Act!'s official policy states no refunds will be provided for partial months (monthly subscriptions), remaining months (annual subscriptions), or remaining years (multi-year subscriptions). There is no prorated refund under any circumstances.

What happens to my data after I cancel a cloud subscription?

For Act! Premium Cloud and Act! Growth Suite hosted accounts, Act! retains your data for 90 days after cancellation. You must contact Act! in writing within that 90-day window to request a backup. After 90 days, your database may be permanently deleted.

Can I reactivate my Act! subscription after cancelling?

Reactivation is possible if you contact customerservice@act.com or call 866-936-8133 within the 90-day data retention window. After 90 days, your cloud database may be gone and restoration may not be possible. Act! does not publish a self-service reactivation path.

Do I need to cancel before my renewal date?

Yes — this is critical. You must send your cancellation email to subscription.renewals@act.com before your anniversary/renewal date. Act! will not refund a charge that has already been processed, even if you cancel the very next day.

Is there a phone number I can call to cancel instead of emailing?

Log in at my.act.com and navigate to 'Account and Billing' to confirm your exact renewal/anniversary date. Alternatively, check your original subscription confirmation email. You must cancel before this date — Act! does not issue refunds for charges that have already processed.

Export your data (cloud subscribers)

If you are on Act! Premium Cloud or Act! Growth Suite (hosted), back up your database before cancelling. Contact Act! support at customerservice@act.com or call 866-936-8133 to request a data export. After cancellation, you have only 90 days to retrieve your data before it is permanently deleted.

Send cancellation email to subscription.renewals@act.com

Compose an email to subscription.renewals@act.com (primary cancellation channel for Act! Premium Cloud and Act! Growth Suite). Include your full name, account email address, company name, and a clear written request to cancel your subscription. Alternatively, email customerservice@act.com.

Receive cancellation confirmation

Act! will process your request and send a written confirmation. Keep this confirmation email as proof. If you do not receive a response within 1–2 business days, follow up by phone at 866-873-2006 (M–F 9am–7pm ET) or submit a support ticket at https://www.act.com/submit-a-ticket/.

Verify access has been terminated

Once cancellation is confirmed, attempt to log in to verify your account has been deactivated. Access to the Act! application is removed upon termination. If you are still able to log in after the confirmation email, contact support immediately.
