What happens to the money in my KOHO account if I downgrade?

Downgrading to the free Easy plan keeps your KOHO account and balance fully intact. You'll retain your KOHO card and core spending features; you'll only lose the premium cashback rates and other paid perks.

Will my direct deposits or bill payments be affected?

No — downgrading your KOHO plan does not affect direct deposits or bill payments linked to your account. All scheduled payments will continue to function normally on the free plan.

Can I upgrade back to a paid KOHO plan later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade to Essential, Extra, or Everything at any time from the Plan section in the KOHO app. Your account history and balance will remain unchanged.

Launch the KOHO app on your smartphone and log in to your account.

Go to your Profile

Tap the profile icon or your avatar in the top-left or bottom navigation bar to access your account settings.

Select Plan

Tap 'Plan' to view your current KOHO subscription tier (Essential, Extra, or Everything).

Downgrade to Easy (free)

Tap 'Change plan' and select the Easy plan, which is completely free. Your paid subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Confirm the downgrade

Review the features you'll lose and confirm the downgrade. KOHO will send you a confirmation notification once the change is processed.
