Will I lose my NES, SNES, and N64 game saves if I cancel?

Online cloud saves are only accessible with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. If you cancel, cloud saves are retained for 6 months. If you do not resubscribe within 6 months, cloud saves may be deleted.

Can I still play games locally after cancelling?

Yes. Local play and single-player games are not affected by your NSO membership. Only online multiplayer features and the retro game library require an active subscription.

What does the Expansion Pack include?

The Expansion Pack adds access to N64 and Sega Genesis classic games, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC, and other select DLC packs, on top of everything in the standard membership.

Visit Nintendo Account website

Go to accounts.nintendo.com and sign in with your Nintendo Account credentials.

Go to Nintendo Switch Online

Click "Nintendo Switch Online" in the left menu or navigate to accounts.nintendo.com/subscription_products.

View your membership

You will see your current plan (Individual, Family, or Expansion Pack) along with your renewal date.

Turn off auto-renewal

Click "Auto-Renewal Settings" and select "Do not auto-renew". Confirm your choice when prompted.

Confirm the change

Your subscription will remain active until the expiry date. Membership benefits, including online play and NES/SNES/N64 library access, continue until that date.
