What is the difference between Sky Go and Sky Go Extra?

Sky Go is the standard streaming app included free with a Sky TV subscription. Sky Go Extra is a paid add-on that allows you to download content for offline viewing and stream on up to four devices simultaneously, instead of the standard one device.

Will I lose Sky Go access if I cancel Sky Go Extra?

No. Cancelling Sky Go Extra only removes the additional features (downloads and multi-device). You'll keep standard Sky Go access as long as you have a Sky TV subscription.

Can I cancel Sky Go Extra without cancelling my Sky TV subscription?

Yes. Sky Go Extra is a separate add-on. Cancelling it has no effect on your main Sky TV subscription or any other Sky services like Sky Sports or Sky Cinema.

Sign in to your Sky account

Go to sky.com and sign in with your Sky iD (username and password). Sky Go Extra is an add-on to Sky Go, which requires a Sky TV subscription.

Go to My Sky

Click on 'My Sky' or your account name in the top navigation, then select 'My Account' or 'Manage your account'.

Find Sky Go Extra in your subscriptions

Look for 'Sky Go' or 'Sky Go Extra' in your list of active subscriptions or add-ons under 'My Subscriptions' or 'Manage Add-ons'.

Remove Sky Go Extra

Select Sky Go Extra and click 'Remove' or 'Cancel add-on'. This removes the extra download feature but you'll retain standard Sky Go access (streaming on one device at a time) if you have a Sky TV subscription.

Confirm removal

Confirm the removal of Sky Go Extra when prompted. The change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Check confirmation

You should receive a confirmation email or see the change reflected in your account. You'll retain Sky Go (standard) while keeping your Sky TV subscription.
