Sign in to Xero
Go to login.xero.com and sign in to your account.
Go to Subscription settings
Click your organization name, then 'Settings', then 'Subscription'.
Click Cancel Subscription
Click 'Cancel subscription' at the bottom of the page.
Export your data
Xero will prompt you to export your data before cancellation. Download your accounting files.
Confirm cancellation
Complete the cancellation form and confirm. Your data is retained for 30 days.

Xero may offer a discounted rate, remind you of upcoming tax deadlines, and offer to downgrade to a cheaper plan.
